The middle of this pyramid is a great position to start your journey. As it relates to emotional understanding, your score on this assessment indicates that you know the value of emotion. You are therefore ready to take the next steps, and with some commitment toward willingness and engagement, you have a great opportunity to grow.

Later in this season, we will be comparing emotional understanding to that of Maslow’s Hierarchy, and showcasing how a rise in emotional understanding correlates to a rise on Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs. That discussion will come in time. For the time being, and knowing that correlation will be made later, if we were to position your score within the hierarchy, you might find yourself swirling in the estuary of belonging, an area of the map we all must learn to move past. However, to go above and beyond this place, one must learn how emotional flexibility can be a gift that can be delivered to the world in which we live. Level Three Coaching is a platform for just that.
