Esteem Roller

Score: 33 - 38

Great job! As it relates to emotional understanding, your score on this assessment indicates that you have a lead on most of the pack, but there is still room to improve. Maintain that willingness to wade into the abstract and you’ll find yourself starting out on the most stunning view of life.

Later in this season, we will be comparing emotional understanding, to that of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, and showcasing how a rise in this understanding correlates to a rise on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. That discussion will come in time. For the time being, and knowing that correlation will be made later, if we were to position your score within the hierarchy, you might find yourself rooted to what Maslow describes as Esteem. It is a way of suggesting that you are accepted and valued by others. You understand that, in life, one must give in order to receive. Esteem is a form of giving that can only be achieved with a strong sense of emotional understanding.
