Later in this season, we will be comparing emotional understanding to that of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, and showcasing how a rise in this understanding correlates to a rise on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. That discussion will come in time. For the time being, and knowing that correlation will be made later, if we were to rank your score based on Maslow’s Hierarchy, you might find yourself near the top, on a level known as Self-Actualization.

Self-Actualization is the awareness and realization of one’s full potential. Individuals who understand and make choices at this level tend to have a strong sense of self-esteem, maintain healthy relationships as showcased in the assessment you just completed, and understand what makes an effective choice. This mindset, or view on life helps to support you in many endeavors, including, but not limited to, parenting, coaching, team development and the pursuit of goals.

Advice for Your Journey: Throughout the Level Three Coaching Program, we ask that you tap into this understanding of emotion in an effort to support your leadership and team spirit. You will greatly benefit from this engagement. However, and with that being said, please keep in mind that just as actualization can be achieved, if not cared for, it can also fade away. Ego is always over our left shoulder.
